CEBU, Philippines – The recently formed Marie Ernestine School (MES) Alumni Association is enjoining all graduates of the school to the grand alumni homecoming next month - the first such gathering to be organized by the group.
Scheduled for December 19 at the Mediterranean Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, the occasion will recognize MES alumni who have greatly contributed to the community through their respective fields of specialization will be recognized during the homecoming.
A fashion presentation titled "Rouge: Musique ala Mode" serves as the prelude to the reunion's main highlight. Creations by up-and-coming fashion designer Lorenzo Ceniza, and select ensembles by a number of Cebu's top couturiers to be modeled by 40 MES alumni.
The homecoming's main highlight is a concert featuring internationally famed balladeer David Pomeranz. It is presented in cooperation with Livehouse Productions.
Pomeranz is expected to sing a number of his popular songs - with MES alumni Joyce Zerda (Music Program Director of M-Zed Christian School), Chadleen Lacdo-o of TV5, Akisha Sianson of "Team Leah" from the Voice Kids, and local female artist and former VIVA talent Joana Branzuela.
