The country's grocery shopping destination of choice has brought its renowned world class shopping experience, premium variety, freshness, quality and excellent customer service closer to homes. Rustan's Supermarket opens its 1,481 square-meter store at the Oakridge Business Park in Mandaue City.
The grocery store first opened in Cebu in 1981, providing Cebuanos the kind of grocery shopping destination they deserved by giving them access to premium and imported goods. For over three decades it has made shopping for food a pleasure and continues its strong legacy with innovative approaches, new food concepts and a wider variety of specialty and gourmet items. Their first store in Mandaue (their third in Cebu) promises to keep the tradition.
The Mandaue store's unveiling and bread-breaking ceremony was led by Rustan Supercenters Inc. President Donnie V. Tantoco, who was joined by guests of honor Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes, Cebu Provincial Board Member Miguel Magpale, Honorary Consul of the UK Tamsin Booth, Oakridge Realty Development Corp. CEO Edmun Liu and Board of Director Alfred Go, Maria Luisa Properties owner and General Manager Annie Osmeña-Aboitiz, multi-awarded furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue and Miss Mandaue 2014 Dominique Picson.
RSCI President Donnie Tantoco expressed his gratitude to everyone who shared in this new milestone, "It is with great pleasure that we bring the Rustan's Supermarket, for letting it fill your tables in every occasion you have and for allowing us to be part of your family for the past three decades. Establishing our first store here in Oakridge is just the first step toward a wonderful relationship between Rustan's Supermarket and Mandaue City and we intend to keep growing to meet Cebu's demands and to cater to the evolving needs and distinct and diverse lifestyle of our customers."
