Feng Shui color energy therapy

Aura in humans is defined as protective layers of electromagnetic colors unique for everyone in accordance with one’s state of wellbeing or health at any given time. The energy fields of the human aura constantly change depending on one’s momentary physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, moral, sexual even financial state.

It surrounds the human body like a protective egg, and promotes homeostasis or natural adjustment to one’s environ for natural protection and human survival.

Color energy therapy in feng shui takes off from the notion that vibrational energy intervention using color can heal or attract desired conditions in one’s bioelectric body. Thus, even idiomatic expressions of being green with envy or red in anger have become a new normal, where people live colorful lives of drama and triumph, even losses.

Let us explore the popular colors used in feng shui therapy:

Magenta, Fuchsia or Pink bring relief or healing to human beings experiencing vomiting, shock, stroke, nausea, morning sickness, headache, fainting or migraines.

Yellow relieves arthritis, hepatitis, jaundice, rheumatism and body-part or muscle stiffness.

Red remedies anemia, colds, leukemia pains and numbness.

Violet addresses earaches, menopause myopia, neuralgia, warts, conjunctivitis, and both paranoia and mental illnesses.

Orange remedies alcoholism, agoraphobia, arthritis, common colds, constipation, depression, gallstones, gout, fatigue, kidney disease, liver disease, rheumatism, stiffness and ulcers.

Green relieves angina, chest pains, gastric ulcer, heart diseases, peptic ulcer, trauma, tumors and warts.

Turquoise or Aquamarines may heal abscess, acne, asthma, boils, catarrh, cold sores, derma problems, eczema, fatigue, fever, hay fever, pneumonia, stings, swellings and stress!

Blue in all its shades may relieve acne, anxiety, asthma, backaches, blisters, bruises, burns, cough, cramps, dermatitis, earaches, emphysema, flatulence, gallstones, german measles, glandular fever, hay fever, hernia, herpes, hiccups, influenza, itchings, laryngitis, lumbago, mumps, premenstrual tensions, sneezing, sores, sprains, stammering, stiffness, stings, stress, sunburn, tonsillitis, toothaches, allergies-nasal or skin!

Folk beliefs also affirm colors can be a boon or bane for any room of the house as it affects its occupants. Some even claim: Touch blue and your wish will come true!

Pink or Orange are said to stimulate appetites in the dining room. But in today’s slim-oriented culture, Blue dining rooms lessen the appetite for that sexy body!

Blue, Green or White for living rooms promote peaceful coexistence and avoid conflict or disagreements!

Good kitchen color is Green or White or both to promote cleanliness and freshness. An architect told me once that Yellow paint inside cabinets prevents cockroaches!

Blue, Gray or White fit well for a peaceful bathroom or toilet. Although some Asian cultures espouse that a Red bathroom will attract enormous prosperity!

Chinese brides wear Red or Scarlet in the never-ending belief that Red brings luck, warmth, strength, attractiveness. They have Red gates or doors to invite luck and happiness. As a substitute, it may be Pink, Violet or Purple.

Bedrooms are preferably Light Green, as in teal or apple greens, as it signifies vibrancy or freshnesss, growth and peace of mind! Avoid Dark Greens in this respect; it’s too yin.

Yellow attracts long life, good health.

White in Chinese is death or mourning. It may be offset with combinations of preferred colors depending on desired outcomes or objectives.

At the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold; also true in feng shui color therapy in the adage: “It does not matter if a cat is black or white, so long as it catches mice!”

Be wise in the colors that you go for, let it heal you. Happy coloring of your lives!
