CEBU, Philippines - The works of three up-and-coming visual artists were recently on exhibit in Handuraw Pizza Café Kasambagan, showcasing more than 15 water media pieces made by artists Paula Delmo, Yochiko Dulatre and JM Jusay.
The exhibit - entitled "Elemento: An Art and Fashion Exhibit" - stood out aamong Handuraw's featured highlights for the month. It was not bound by an all-encompassing theme. The presented art pieces were one in heralding visual art's role in capturing beauty in all its forms - leading its audience to different vistas of reality; embracing the calm and the turbulent, the sensual and the stoic.
In its overall execution, the "Elemento" complemented the innate implications of the Cebuano word "handuraw" - which loosely translates to "the power to imagine." Handuraw Pizza Café stands by its thrust in supporting the growth and promotion of local talents.
