Dos & Don’ts
Just like the Filipino Juan Tamad story, looking for a job shuns laziness. As an Islam saying goes, if the mountain will not go to Muhammad, Muhammad will go to the mountain!
Wanting to earn more income but you are disqualified or even fed up with the rat race? End your quiet desperation by using feng shui in becoming an entrepreneur! Yes, start your own business right, no matter how small.
The key is knowing the feng shui element that will be lucky for you.
This is according to your element. There are five elements in Chinese philosophy: wood, fire, earth, metal or water.
In doing so, do not rely on any feng shui book, the internet or Chinese horoscope or astrology calendar for normally they are wrong! They either mislead you or themselves!
Example, a feng shui wannabe reader may claim to be a Water Rat. But in real feng shui analysis, he or she is an Earth Rat! A big difference in the following ways! Much like those born in January of a Rat year might think they are Rat! Instead, they are actually Pig.
Only a genuine feng shui expert can do this for you, not that mall feng shui stall saleslady or her fake boss! The cardinal rule is if you are a water element person, any water related business can prosper with you. And any opposing element to water, like wood or fire, will make your venture unlucky.
So, to pursue our model, a water person can venture into mineral water selling in the neighborhood, or even a small ATM (automatic tubig machine) in Cebu suburbs, or fishponds, even pet shops selling aquarium fish and supplies.
Such person should not go into fire related businesses like a bakery, lechon or roast pig dealing, and restaurant, even small carenderia or canteen!
Education is not a limitation in entrepreneurship, more so with feng shui. Even if you are not a schooled person, a dropout or unfinished in your studies, you can succeed in any feng shui guided business. Take for example a Binondo trader just wearing boxer shorts and sando in his dry fish stall. He may look poor, but his bulad or dried fish trading reaches Bahrain, San Francisco, even London, aside from the local domestic markets! He may turn out to be a water person since he flourishes in a business that is water related: dried fish. And he may not want to go into malls or retailing or even real estate business, because it is against his feng shui.
Use of lucky colors for business logos, uniforms, delivery trucks or interiors and exteriors, is the next level of feng shui.
While “location, location, location†is applicable for the site of business from a marketing viewpoint, it must be backed with feng shui: in every business expansion, start up or rehabilitation for entrepreneurs.
Because one looks like a Pig, or born in the year of the Pig, can one be successful in entrepreneurship by entering the pork business or be a political entrepreneur for pork barrel? Wrong!
