Anna Faris addresses Chris Pratt cheating rumors

CEBU, Philippines - Anna Faris told Us Weekly that reading false reports of Chris Pratt being unfaithful has been surprisingly “stinging.”

“I had always kind of believed that part of the rumors of celebrity couples were sort of true because they had never been part of my life. I was like, ‘Oh, maybe there’s a kernel of truth to that.’ It’s been a little devastating because for us, it’s like, ‘What the heck?’” the “Mom” star, 38, said regarding reports her marriage to Pratt, 36, is on the rocks. “This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. It has been weirdly stinging.”

Pratt’s wife is referring to Star magazine’s report that she’s concerned her hunky “Jurassic World” hubby will cheat on her with his “Passengers” co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

“That stung a little bit harder than I thought it would,” Faris admitted.

But Faris knows her husband is committed to her and their three-year-old son, Jack. “I am very lucky that I am with a man who values family,” she added.

The “House Bunny” actress and “Parks and Recreation” star first met in 2007 after starring in “Take Me Home Tonight.” In 2009, they made it official and tied the knot.

“These are the work years. The gravy years are to come,” Pratt explained in June of how he makes their marriage work given their busy schedules.

“The way we work it out is we just take at least one moment every day to be present with one another. Whether or not we’re in the same room, or the same state, or even the same country, we check in, you know?”

“We’re so lucky that we have the same sense of humor,” Faris added. “We dream about having a little bit of a farm one day.”

Pratt recently told a magazine that “honesty is the best policy” when it comes to relationships.

“Being mindful of someone's feelings is also very important,” he explained. “It’s not okay to lie, but it is okay to protect your partner. And understanding the difference requires wisdom.”

He also shared the sweetest tribute to his gorgeous wife in April.

“Anna and I are meant to be together,” he wrote. “Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life. Anna is a great wife. Very patient, understanding and supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love.” (FREEMAN)
