CEBU, Philippines - At the Ayala Malls, talented performers give mall goers the gift of music through the “Stars of Joy, Stars of Hope†concert series. The project which is directed by Audie Gemora with musical direction by Mel Villana will be ongoing at various Ayala Malls until Dec. 15.
The concert series held its gala last Nov. 19 at the Glorietta Activity Center. It featured songs that inspired sharing and giving and among those who performed were Piolo Pascual, Martin Nievera, Kuh Ledesma, Joanna Ampil, Isabella Gonzalez, and the Steps Dancers.
“Stars of Joy, Stars of Hope†is just one manner by which Ayala Malls expresses the joy of giving and sharing during the yuletide season. It seeks to encourage mall goers to come together as a community by showing their support for the Typhoon Yolanda victims and donating to “Bulig Bisaya,†an initiative of Ayala Foundation that will benefit the typhoon and earthquake victims of Visayas. Donation boxes will be located around the concert venues to collect donations in exchange for seats to the concert series. Alternatively, donations in cash or kind will also be accepted at the concierge at each Ayala Mall.
The concert this coming Dec. 15 will be held 6 p.m. at the Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu. Featured performers will be Kuh Ledesma, Tom Rodriguez, Denise Laurel and the Steps Dancers.
Shoppers at the different Ayala Malls can also show their support for beleaguered communities in Visayas through the Ayala Malls gift bag promo. This is where shoppers will receive a specially designed gift bag for every P500 minimum receipt purchase plus a donation of five pesos.
Likewise, Ayala Malls has partnered with Viber to set up “Sagip Tawag Centers†for the families of the affected communities. Located near the concierge booths, free calls to Globe subscribers can be made through Viber ready laptops and mobile phones.
