CEBU, Philippines - Following the success of “Desperate Housewives†and “Devious Maids†which she executive produces, actress Eva Longoria isn’t pressured to have children.
“No, I’m not one of those women that’s like, ‘Oh I must procreate!’†the 38-year old told Access Hollywood Live. “So, no. I think kids are a product of love, so if you find the right person and you want to have a family with that person then that’s when the time is right.â€
Longoria, who is hosting the 2013 ALMA Awards, said that if she never becomes a mother, she will be at peace with that path. “I don’t think if I’m 50 and single - I’m not going to go and [have a baby] by myself,†she said.
Would she like to get married again? (She split from Tony Parker in 2010.) “I’ve been married twice, so that’s been there, done that!â€
As for what she looks for in a man, Longoria said she doesn’t have a type as she has dated different kinds of men. “Being funny and educated are important to me.†(FREEMAN)
