CEBU, Philippines - GMA Network launches its newest human drama program that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats with “Bingit.†It will premiere on Sept. 21 after “Startalk.â€
Directed by Rico Gutierrez and Lem Lorca, “Bingit†features a highly-emotional re-enactment of the chain of events leading to the actual accidents or life-threatening circumstances as told by the person involved. The program will present different stories of celebrities, popular personalities and ordinary individuals who have experienced near-death situations.
Using the elements of interview, dramatization, actual videos and photos, the program will magnify how one’s decision coupled with the power of the human spirit can overcome any life-threatening situation.
For its pilot episode, “Bingit†will recreate the story of June Abrozado, the lone survivor in the plane crash that killed former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo last August 18, 2012. (FREEMAN)
