CEBU, Philippines - Multi-platinum-selling rock band Rivermaya goes live at Ayala Center Cebu on March 16.
Under the new label Universal Records, Rivermaya returns to the music scene with their latest single, “Pilipinas, Kailan Ka Magigising?â€
Catch Mark Escueta and Mike Elgar as they take center stage at the Terraces on March 16, 7pm along with new members Ryan Peralta and Norby David. This exciting lineup will mark the end of the four-year hiatus for this popular rock band and welcome a homecoming for the single that everyone has been waiting for.
Part of a forthcoming album called “Panatang Makabandaâ€, “Pilipinas, Kailan Ka Magigising?†is penned by founding Rivermaya member Mark Escueta as a reminder to everyone to go against crab mentality and selfishness. This release is also the band’s first project with their new label Universal Records, where they join the label’s elite roster of bands – Parokya Ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Sponge Cola, Callalily, among others.
Rock it out this March as this upcoming concert also celebrates graduation season along with this month’s Mallwide Graduation Sale from March 14-17 only at Cebu’s premiere shopping, dining and entertainment destination. (FREEMAN)
