CEBU, Philippines — Leading on-demand delivery app Lalamove has sealed a partnership with UnionBank’s thrift arm CitySavings, to provide motorcycle financing for units purchased at its accredited dealer-partners nationwide.
Through the partnership, Lalamove partner drivers can enjoy flexible payment options plus rebates when buying Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha motorcycle models.
Aside from the one-day approval and easier requirements, payment settlement has also been made more convenient thanks to PERA HUB’s 350 branches nationwide. This will impact over 35,000 partner drivers in Greater Metro Manila and Cebu, areas where Lalamove currently operates.
“We are confident this partnership will be a success, given the ease of availment and convenience it brings our drivers,” shared Lalamove Managing Director Dannah Majarocon. “Imagine acquiring a brand new motorcycle where you don’t need to show a payslip or go through a burdensome and difficult process—with CitySavings, our first bank partner, this is not just a possibility but a reality,” she added.
“CitySavings proudly announces its strong partnership with Lalamove in providing and financing the needs of the motorcycling public. With this partnership, we enable greater participation of motorcycle users in the rapidly expanding economic activities in the country today,” said City Savings Bank Managing Director – Motorcycle Loans Business Group Adm. Feliciano A. Angue, (Ret.).
