Grand Land starts construction of 30-storey corporate tower

CEBU, Philippines – The first high-rise, mixed-used development in Cebu will soon rise at the heart of the North Reclamation Area.

The groundbreaking recently by the project developer, Grand Land, Inc., the property development arm of the Gaisano Grand Group of Companies, at the 3,540 square meter area across SM City North Wing signaled the start of the construction of the 30-storey Grand Tower Cebu building.

Strategically located in the upbeat side of North Reclamation Area, Grand Tower Cebu has three components: office spaces, hotel, and retail outlets.  The hotel will be run by world-renowned hotel operator, Dusit International.

“This project will be something very special since all our facilities and amenities are not only beautifully-designed but also built to conform to international quality standards,” Ryan Bernard Go, President of Grand Land, Inc., said.

“This is one of the key projects we have in Cebu and we embarked on this hotel project because we see the need for branded luxury hotel residences in Cebu.  The partnership with Dusit International may extend to more GLI hotel projects.  The major component of Grand Tower is the Office, wherein it offers any business a convenient and comfortable working space with a very prestigious address,” Go added.

The GTC will house 295 hotel rooms of the Dusit Princess brand and 209 office spaces that afford a fantastic view of Mactan Channel and the mountains of Cebu. And as part of the mixed-use development, amenities include all-day dining restaurants, function rooms, retail outlets, a gym, and swimming pools.

Grand Tower Cebu will become a new corporate landmark in this part of Metro Cebu and it will usher in new investments as well as provide stimulus for economic growth for the Province of Cebu.

The project is expected to be completed by 2019. (FREEMAN)
