CEBU, Philippines - Taking customer complaints positively and working on it can actually enhance consumer satisfaction and the overall function of a business.
CD-R King realized this as the company continues to expand in some parts of the country and seeing the need to respond to the demands of the public in terms of product quality and good service.
CD-R King operations manager Andy Cagalingan said the company has exerted efforts to address product quality control after they received concerns from several customers on the quality of their products.
“Nagkakaroon kami talaga ng push for quality control,†he said, “and we see to it na strict yung quality control.â€
The move eventually maintained efficient operations and improved business results as the company opened its Cebu E-Mall branch, the biggest branch so far in Visayas and Mindanao regions.
From just being a technology supplier, CD-R King now sells various products such as home appliances, accessories, school supplies, toys, make-up, cookery tools and the new Eco-Bikes, an eco-friendly rechargeable bicycle.
“Ngayon one-stop shop na kami,†Cagalingan said, “because alam ninyo we always answer to the demand of our customers. For example, kapag tumaas yung demand sa payong, nagbebenta din kami niyan.â€
Cebu market
The responsive and strong market in Cebu has also pushed the technology provider to open stores soon in the cities of Bogo, Talisay (Starmall Azienda) and Mandaue (Parkmall), the operations manager told reporters.
In fact, he also shared that one of the shops in Cebu is the fifth top selling CD-R King store nationwide: “We would really like to venture more on our Cebu market.â€
He added they will soon acquire a point of sale system for the E-Mall store to record sales and maintain inventory records up-to-date.
CD-R King has a wide range of customers that include high school and college students, employees, the elderly and ordinary people because of its reasonably priced items and the various goods it has, Cagalingan further said.
The product suppliers of the company come from Manila, Taiwan and China.
It has more than 300 branches nationwide, 23 stores are in Cebu, employing a thousand workers. (FREEMAN)
