CEBU, Philippines - Chevron Philippines, Inc. recently introduced to the Cebu market its high standard fuel product Caltex with Techron.
CPI product engineering specialist Jude Porras said this new product assures motorists, both private car owners and jeepney drivers, of cleaner engines and a better road performance.
Studies have shown that using high quality fuel products improves fuel efficiency, car engine’s performance and life span, and promotes better emission control, giving motorists a greater reliability on their vehicles.
On the other hand, cars that are powered with low quality fuels are most likely to experience a build-up of excessive piston deposits which are harmful to a car’s engine and emission system.
Porras said the accumulation of these harmful deposits would negatively affect the car’s overall performance, leading to the increase of smoke emissions, deposit-related problems, poor acceleration and power loss.
CPI markets Caltex fuels, lubricants and petroleum products. Its network of service stations, terminals and sales offices forms the backbone of the company’s presence in the Philippines.
CPI recently introduced to the Cebu market its high standard fuel product Caltex with Techron, bringing what it assures good benefits to vehicles using such oil.
Techron is a powerful and unique fuel additive containing a polyetheramine (PEA)—based mixture which is believed to keep essential car engine parts clean and simultaneously remove deposits left by lower quality gasoline.
If the engine is clean, the company says, cars perform better and efficiently as it also means less likelihood for power loss, adding that Techron’s unique chemistry is especially designed to make cars perform at the best.
The regular internal cleaning of engine is also an economical way to lessen emissions, thus, controlling air pollution, it adds. (FREEMAN)
