Borbon school to hold grand alumni homecoming

CEBU, Philippines - Borbon National High School in the northern town of Borbon, Cebu is holding a grand alumni homecoming on May 25, 2013, 8 am at the school ground.

Carrying the theme, “Reminiscing  Memories, Realizing Dreams, Continuing Achievements,” the event is organized by the pioneering Batch ’92 headed by its president, Natividad Montejo and vice president  Wilda Dosdos.

Jilda M.  Armero, secretary of the said batch said the activity will be opened with a Holy Mass followed by a motorcade around the town.

It is expected that the school alumni will be honouring Lorna Ibo, the pioneering principal who has served the school for more than a decade until her retirement just recently.

Other officers of the pioneering batch include Juanita Sumayang, treasurer; Lito Catam-isan, auditor; Ridel Formentera, Liezel Mundo and Catalino Pretilla, PIOs.

Councilor Roy Melgo, chair, committee on education is also expected to address the group during the program.

Armero said there are lots of surprises during this grand event.
