More than 100 residents in barangay Banilad, Mandaue City are accusing an aqua-culture firm of putting everyone's health in the locality at risk with the foul odor allegedly emitting from its factory.


In their petition filed at the barangay council, 106 residents of P. Remedios Street attribute the cause of their stomachaches and other diseases to the odor coming from Integrated Aquaculture Specialties Incorporated.

The petitioners claim that company representatives have assured to remedy the problem but until now nothing has been done.
