[Summary] => Philippine triathlon team skipper to the 2005 Southeast Asian Games Arland Macasieb proved his worth with a victory in the Green Book Race in Staten Island in New York.
The Filipino-American Macasieb, which was recently named by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines as one of the flag carriers in the SEA Games, was aided by a Vellum bike on his way to the championships in the Green Book Race.
He clocked 57.06 seconds to win the plum in the sprint triathlon over Scott Duprex, who arrived at the finishing line 12 seconds later.
