Two Caucasian backpack travelers (both women) looked amused as they watched an old man (not really old, maybe about 60) repair some pairs of old shoes as he sat on a hollow block along a roadside (Junquera). An Ear informer said the two women were amused all the more as the old man repaired a broken umbrella as he waited for the glue or rugby to dry up on the pair of shoes he was repairing.
