                    [Summary] => CEBU CITY – After five months and 12 regional qualifying runs in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the cast of the 26th Milo Marathon national finals is now complete with Joseph Penales and Christy Sevalleno leading the region’s qualifiers by ruling the 20k elimination run here Sunday.


The event, which attracted more than 2,300 runners, mostly 3K kiddie run and 5K fun run participants, was fired off by Councilor Manny Legaspi from the Cebu City Sports Complex where the race started and ended.

In the men’s division, University of Cebu a crack runner Rogelio Neri, 20, a finalist in the 1998 Milo Marathon finals in Manila, gets another shot at the finals when he posted a relatively easy win over South Western University’s Tirso Pamaybay, clocking a slow 35:05 time to the latter’s 35:12.
