Rico Adeva, 39, was shot in the head and chest, killing him on the spot. His wife, Nenette, was unharmed. 


Nenette said they were on their way back to their house from the market when the tragedy happened.  


She said they had just crossed the Imbang River when the three men rushed toward them from the sugarcane field in Hacienda del Fuego 2 in Barangay Dos Hermanas.

                    [Summary] => Two police officers allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a businessman in Parañaque 10 days ago have been suspended and face arrest.


Superintendent Manuel Vidania, who is believed to have masterminded the kidnapping of businessman Rafael Decena, and Police Officer 2 Michael Adrid will be placed in "protective custody" at Camp Crame in Quezon City until a warrant for their arrest is issued.


Vidania has yet to surface, but he has reportedly sent surrender feelers to his deputy, Superintendent Charles Calima last week.
