2 cops suspended for kidnapping

Two police officers allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a businessman in Parañaque 10 days ago have been suspended and face arrest.
Superintendent Manuel Vidania, who is believed to have masterminded the kidnapping of businessman Rafael Decena, and Police Officer 2 Michael Adrid will be placed in "protective custody" at Camp Crame in Quezon City until a warrant for their arrest is issued.
Vidania has yet to surface, but he has reportedly sent surrender feelers to his deputy, Superintendent Charles Calima last week.
Vidania, Adrid, four other policemen and two other cohorts will be charged in court with kidnapping, said Senior Superintendent Alan Purisima, commander of the Police Anti-Crime Emergency Response (PACER).
