[Title] => Magnitude-8.2 quake strikes Chile
[Summary] => (UPDATE 3) A powerful magnitude-8.2 earthquake struck off Chile's northern coast Tuesday night, causing landslides and setting off a tsunami that forced an evacuation of coastal areas. There were no immediate reports of injuries or major damage, but buildings shook in nearby Peru and in Bolivia's high altitude capital of La Paz.

[Title] => A feast at sea
[Summary] => Our first day was already worth the trip. Let me correct myself — our first morning. Because by 10:30 a.m. we saw a massive stingray, affable turtles, lots of sharks, and just when we thought we couldn’t think of any more color combinations or kinds of fish… nature never ceased to amaze us.

[Title] => PAX : The Palawan experience (Part Two)
[Summary] => During my stay, there were a couple of guests who told me about their mishaps. One time they were invited to soak in the jacuzzi with the owner, who was suffering from skin boils. It resulted to one of the ladies having a staphylococcus ear infection. She wasn't taken to the hospital nor did any doctor come to see her but the owner just called the doctor to prescribe some antibiotics, which was later billed to the guest.

[Title] => Marooned on a desert island
[Summary] => Allowing oneself to be drawn into a selection of ones favorite book is not unlike deliberately painting oneself into a corner, only worse. It is impractical and pointless, similar to being asked the one thing preferred on a desert island the first things that come to mind are the Internet and several good books. And therein lies the crux of the matter: the sheer impossibility of choosing just one book. After all, what one chooses to read at an airport lounge is not necessarily what one curls up with in bed.
