Labor and Employment Secretary Patricia Sto. Tomas said the "no work, no pay" policy will apply on Saturday, Aug. 21, which is a special non-working day.
"Under the law, only those who would report for work are entitled to receive additional 30 percent from their regular daily rate and plus 30 percent for services rendered in excess of eight hours," she said.
