For the nth time, the Traffic Management Group of the Philippine National
Police has vowed "corruption free" enforcement of traffic rules and regulations
along EDSA.

TMG director Chief Superintendent Renato Paredes said that the unit is
currently implementing new procedures that will positively change the image of
police units perceived as corrupt.

In an experiment which started last Monday, the TMG aims to make a "show
window" of EDSA, considered the most busy thoroughfare in the metropolis.

The TMG has the main responsibility of enforcing traffic rules and regulations
