A woman committed suicide by taking an overdose of anti-tuberculosis drugs inside a motel room in Sta. Mesa, Manila the other day.


The woman, who was identified only as "Amy" through a suicide note, was found dead inside Room 1 of Queensland Lodge along V. Mapa Extension in Old Sta. Mesa, Manila. She was described as in her 40s, at least five-foot tall and slim.

Police said Amy and an unidentified male companion checked in at the hotel early morning and even ordered food for lunch.

The victim was found dead inside room 215 by Eliseo Deparene, a room boy of the Queensland Lodge located along Harrison corner EDSA.
