The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), the country’s power sector watchdog, is aiming to become Asia’s benchmark in power regulation, the top ERC official said.    


ERC chairman Rodolfo Albano Jr. said while this is a daunting task, but it is not an impossible vision amid a number of challenges being faced by the electric power industry.     


To achieve this goal, Albano said the commission will put premium importance on the training and development of its leaders.
