Senior Superintendent Roberto Rongavilla, Muntinlupa City police chief, said they have no recourse but to release Arnulfo Sarraga, 22, upon receipt of the order issued by City prosecutor Michelle Divina-Delfin, of the City prosecutor’s office.


Rongavilla said they are just awaiting Sarraga’s parents or relatives to fetch him before letting him go.

SPD director Chief Superintendent Wilfredo Garcia admitted they have not yet identified the suspect, but a witness said the man in the photo was the one who chased and stabbed Oliver Ong Dy with a screwdriver following a heated argument at Camella 2E subdivision in Barangay Putatan .

Garcia said Senior Superintendent Roberto Rongavilla, chief of the Muntinlupa City police and task force head had interviewed the close friends who vowed to reveal all to give justice to Dy’s death.
