Jealousy drove a man to kill his former live-in partner by slashing her neck with a kitchen knife at sitio Anahaw in barangay Buhisan yesterday morning.


Police said the victim was 33-year-old Yulie Eltagunde, a resident of sitio CCF in Buhisan who worked as house helper of a certain Mr. Ceñer, of the same barangay.

Scene of the Crime operatives, led by Sr. Insp. Rommel Daguno, that rushed to the crime scene identified the suspected killer as a certain Nonito Navales, a barangay resident who was reportedly a former live-in partner of the victim.
