[Title] => Nick Hornbys musical taste test
[Summary] => British writer Nick Hornby hit upon an important human discovery in his first novel, High Fidelity: people love to read lists.
Especially "top ten favorite song" lists. So he put a lot of those in High Fidelity. His latest book is 31 Songs, a selection of essays on (duh!) 31 songs that mean, or once meant, a lot to Nick Hornby. Originally put out by friend Dave Eggars McSweeneys Publishing as Songbook, complete with a sampler CD, the paperback version is thinner and lacks the CD.

[Title] => All about Nick Hornbys About a Boy
[Summary] => Some books are just plain weird. Others are just plain stupid. Others (like textbooks) are just so scholarly that they can even make the 65th UAAP games look boring. But through that pile of garbage (I like to exaggerate), you will find some books that are just a mix of everything: weird, stupid, comical, and at some level, intellectual.

[Title] => Music, heartbreak & being male in High Fidelity
[Summary] => I am not really a bookworm. I usually prefer watching movie versions of books rather than reading the real thing.
Well, except for one book that my sister recommended: Nick Hornbys High Fidelity.
It was a major transformation really when, after browsing through the first pages of the book, I found myself sitting and actually reading it. Since Im not entirely bookish, I found it a pleasant surprise that I liked it very much.
