[Summary] => Sports development and community service are the main objectives in the 1st San Remegio Beach Club Basketball League set to kick off 8 a.m. on August 14 at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe.
Mark Ynoc, organizer and commissioner of the league said the tournament is organized to help raise funds for scholarships for the less fortunate children in San Remegio.
"These kids are deprived of education due to poverty and we hope by organizing a tournament such as this, we can generate the needed funds to put them into school," Ynoc said.
