[Title] => This fashion show has got game
[Summary] => Gone are the days when our kids would play games outdoors — traditional Pinoy games like patintero, piko (my personal fave) and luksong tinik. These days, my daughter is usually indoors glued to her cellphone and iPad.

[Title] => Collaboration with Filip + Inna takes Bayo down the ethnic path
[Summary] => Doing a designer-and-RTW collaboration is a popular, well-trod move that plenty of local brands have taken, resulting in varying degrees in success.

[Title] => Weavers and believers
[Summary] => In 2009, the second ASEAN Textile Symposium was held at the National Museum in Manila. All ASEAN countries — Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Malaysia — participated in the event, which was hosted by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines. The Philippines, ironically, did not have its own textile society then.

[Title] => Filip + Inna: A story of faith and healing
[Summary] => Only one word comes to mind when you see her clothes hanging in a shop window: “Happy.” Made of natural fabrics from linen to silk, embellished with a signature indigenous design in perfectly handmade stitches, it would be difficult to miss the Filip + Inna collection.

[Title] => Her name was Lola
[Summary] => Rummaging through my mom and aunt’s closets is something I’m totally fond of doing. It’s a win-win score for me in two ways: I nab unique vintage finds and, best of all, they’re free of charge. I love the look of vintage goods but am hesitant to scour flea markets since the thought of wearing someone else’s old clothes totally puts me off. Ideally, I prefer to know the previous owners of the items I’m donning. Finding new pieces that are vintage-inspired is more my thing.
