[Title] => Ottawa a city of refinement
[Summary] => Ottawa is Canadas capital city and I finally visited it last month after nearly 10 years in Canada. The rationale why it became the capital was not entirely clear to me. Now I know. Ottawa was a compromise choice because of the long rift between the English and French and the cities that grew into todays urban giants, namely Toronto and Montreal.
The mixture of English and French is quite fascinating
