Well, if you think that you really like him enough to ask for your friends' help, then ask your closest friend from that group to help you out. I'm sure that if you can prove to your friends that you really like the person, they will help you out. Be very sure though, because you might end up eating your words, and they might not believe you again when the true feelings hit you.
