Martus of University of the Visayas piled up 6.0 points with 556 spread points, capping his victory with an opening round upset over top seed and veteran international player Ronald Credo by 100 spread points.
Martus, whose trip to Malaysia recently was sponsored by Banco Filipino, took home P4,000 from the eight-round King-of-the-Hill format tournament.
