The Cebu Sinulog Marathon will take place on February 18, starting off in Plaza Independencia to Mactan Island and finishing at the Cebu Provincial Capitol building grounds.


This will be the first full marathon in Cebu in 17 years.

In the last marathon, only 16 of the 45 entries survived.

As of yesterday, around 50 long distance runners have already enlisted, including First Cebu City ASEAN Fun Run champion Stella Mamac-Diaz of Davao City.

Runners below 18 years old are barred from joining the event based on the international rules.
