The member nations of the East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum (EATOF)—through the Academic Tourism Trade Investment Forum, recently passed a resolution urging the organization’s policy making body to initiate programs that will maximize the tourism wealth of each member countries.

The trip to Gangwon is upon invitation by its governor, Kim Jin-sun, during the 2005 East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) held at Jilin Province in China.

Provincial Board Member Agnes Magpale, who heads the committee on tourism said PB members Jose Maria Gastardo, Juan Bolo, Carmiano Kintanar, Victor Maambong and she will fly to Jilin, China with the governor for the East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum.

The organization is made up of nine provinces from nine countries of which Cebu was indorsed as the only province member in the Philippines.
