[Title] => Too many exemptions to UVVRP deplored
[Summary] => A traffic official of Makati City has noted that the increase in the volume of vehicles in the city is a result of the color-coding exemptions granted by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
MAPSA Director Hermenegildo San Miguel reported that the volume of traffic in Makati City has increased by an estimated 50 percent this year compared to the previous year.
San Miguel attributed the increase to the exemptions issued by the MMDA for the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or what is more popularly known as the color-coding scheme.
