Three motorists surfaced yesterday and identified the five suspected car thieves slain by Traffic Management Group (TMG) agents in a shootout in Quezon City as among those who forcibly took their vehicles last year.


The gang, known as Dardo’s Group, was also linked to the killing of PO2 Albert Limbania in Mabalacat, Pampangga last March.


The three complainants — Alfredo Tagle, Diosdado Quintano, and Alberto Pundano, all from Meycauayan, Bulacan—recognized the suspects when they saw them on television last Monday.
