The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced yesterday the promotion of three police generals and five colonels to the next rank.

Now holding the rank of deputy director general (equivalent to lieutenant general) are Reynaldo Wycoco, PNP deputy chief for administration; Jewel Canson, deputy chief for operations; and Romeo Peña, chief of the directorial staff.
