                    [Summary] => LEGAZPI CITY — Last Wednesday’s steam-driven explosion at Mt. Bulusan in Sorsogon, which spewed ash that blanketed several villages, has created more cracks or fissures on the volcano’s slopes, a government volcanologist said.


Cris Deolata, of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), said five fissures on the volcano’s northwest and eastern slopes facing Bulusan and Irosin towns have become evident as they now emit steam.
