                    [Summary] => A World War II bomb found by workers on a busy street where excavation was in progress, caused a mild stir among passersby and pedestrians yesterday morning in  Valenzuela City.


Chief Inspector John Chua,  Valenzuela police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) chief, said Jimmy Namnama, an employee of the JR Roberts Trading along G. Lazaro Street, Dalandanan, Valenzuela City, called up his office at around 10:30 a.m. yesterday.


Namnama reported that a 105 mm. howitzer round was found near their establishment.

Northern Police District (NPD) director Senior Superintendent Marcelino Franco Jr. said yesterday that based on evidence recovered,  they suspect that the fatalities were members of a well-organized crime group. "We are still digging deeper," he said.
