Two Sundays ago, four executive riders form Manila came and raced in the Cebu Cycling Classic II. Team Waterwood-PLDT-DSL, a Bulacan based executive cycling team who is active in the national executive racing scene, joined some 70 local cyclists (including a fresh-looking Mayor Ramonito Durano), and under the blazing noonday sun that cyclists have come to love and hate at the same time, did the 100km, Danao-Bogo-Danao route.

                    [Summary] => The three-part Cebu Cycling Classic concluded yesterday with Jun-jun Canasa, Rex Gonzales and team Kalit claiming their respective titles at the Mandaue City reclamation area.


Canasa topped in class B with 74 points over teammate, Ramsey Villaver, who was nowhere to be found in the third and final stage, which covered 42 kilometers.

Ramsey Villaver ended second with 55 points as Haylin Bardaje came out third with 50 points.

On top of the five participating teams, Danao fielded two guest teams, the Danao City Mayor's office, headed by Mayor Ramon "Nito" Durano III and the Danao City Sports Commission, headed by councilor Boying Rodriguez.
