The police identified the victim as Uehara Tsotumo, a resident of Casimiro Avenue, Casimiro Village in Pamplona III, Las Piñas. He was the owner of a restaurant-bar in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Police Officer 2 Romeo Britanico, case investigator, said the incident took place at around 2 a.m. as Tsotumo and his wife Corazon were about to enter their house.
