Mr. Balaswit was The Terminator and The Predator rolled in one.  I couldn’t use my brothers as "restback" with this guy.  If I told my brothers, "Hey, Mr. Balaswit wants me to see him in his office," my brothers would simply say, "You’re on your own, kid!"  Mr. Balaswit epitomized the ultimate authoritarian figure. Everyone – including the bullies – was afraid of him.
