Koronadal City – Army ground forces under the 1002nd Infantry Brigade invaded the biggest training camp of the New People’s Army (NPA) over the weekend in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat. Lt. Colonel Vicente Porto, commanding-officer of the 1002nd Infantry Brigade based in Malungon, Sarangani, said the troops of the 27th infantry battalion were able to overrun the training camp of the NPA’s Far South Mindanao Region in the hinterland part of Sitio Lahak, Barangay Sinapulan in Columbio town.
