Taiheiyo Cement Corporation (TCC) of Japan, its Cebu-based subsidiary, Taiheiyo Cement Philippines, Inc. (TCPI) and the latter’s employees collectively contributed for both the immediate relief and rebuilding of the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda in northern Cebu. TCC donated P2 million in cash through the Cebu Provincial Government. TCPI president and CEO Satoshi Asami personally handed the communique of TCC President Shuji Fukuda to Cebu Gov. Hilario “Jun-Jun” Davide III in a symbolic turnover of the donation.
