The World Health Organization estimates that over 150 million people worldwide suffer from asthma.  Many more live with other allergic disorders, including atopic eczema, urticaria, and strong reactions to substances such as food, latex, medications and insect stings.

The Philippine Society of Allergy and Immunology is set to hold its 10th Biennial Convention on Sept. 11-12 at the Westin Philippine Plaza. The theme for this year’s convention is "Allergy and Immunology for the Clinician."


As in the past, the society’s choice of topics for the convention has always been based on the practical application of allergy and immunology in day-to-day practice.
