[Summary] => We’ve become so used to ugly Americans, it was a change to meet with Americans who were not ugly. They exist and the more we meet with this kind of Americans, the better we can understand the most powerful country in the world. The question in most minds that evening was whether benevolent missions to which Americans dedicate time and money, are not in themselves also a part of the conquest. Still we have to confront both realities to be able to judge what is good or bad in crafting relations between our two countries.
