MANILA, Philippines -- Yvon Bisera’s spirited frontside charge fizzled at the back nine as the golfer limped home with a one-over 73, finishing tied for fourth in the Nakhon Nayok Ladies Championship 2026 at the Royal Hills Golf Resort and Spa on Friday.

Eyeing a second title in Thailand following her breakthrough victory in last year’s Thailand LPGA Masters, Bisera moved within two shots of then-leader Onkanok Soisuwan with a two-under card – and six-under overall – through 10 holes. But with the pressure mounting, the Filipina ace faltered, dropping three strokes over the next four holes to fall off the pace.

She birdied the 16th to briefly revive her bid, but a bogey on the par-5 No. 17 all but ended her hopes as she carded a 35-38 round in challenging conditions.

A standout on the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour, Bisera opened the 54-hole tournament with a brilliant 67 to share second place after the first round. However, a second-round 73 dropped her to a tie for fifth heading into the finale.

After opening with four straight pars in the final round, she birdied the fifth and added another on No. 10 to move tantalizingly close at six-under overall against Soisuwan’s eight-under aggregate.

But her closing stretch proved costly, and she settled for a 213 total in a tie for fourth – still the best finish among the Filipina contingent.

Mafy Singson, who bounced back from a first-round 79 with a second-round 72 to make the cut, closed with a 73 for a share of 32nd at 224, while Marvi Monsalve struggled to an 80 and finished 61st at 232.

Thai amateur Achiraya Sriwong stole the spotlight with a blistering closing 68 to snatch the title at nine-under 207. Soisuwan, who held the overnight lead, wavered with a 73 and wound up second at 209.
