Pilipinas Ultimate hauls gold, bronze in Asia frisbee tourney

MANILA, Philippines — Pilipinas Ultimate clinched a gold and bronze medal in the 2019 Asia Oceanic Ultimate Guts Championship held in Shanghai, China on Saturday.

The Pilipinas Ultimate mixed team is back-to-back champion in the tournament after beating Japan in the finals, 12-7.

Meanwhile, the women's team settled for a bronze mdeal finish.The Binibinis fell to Australia, 9-13 in the semis.

The men's squad fell short of the podium after bowing to Japan in the semifinals, 9-15.

Earlier this year, Pilipinas Ultimate also came home with three medals in the 2019 Asia Oceanic Beach Ultimate Championships in Japan.
